Production Sprint Week 3


Greetings!

This week we adressed some feedback we got from our teachers and added some new powerups!

From now on if you drive behind a tree it will become seetrough so you can't hide behind it. Each bumpercart now has its own color aswell.

We also added a giant bomb which knocks away everyone within range and a grappling hook to grapple towards your enemy to knock him back!

This week the artist didn't create as much new stuff as previous weeks. He focussed on adjusting
the things that are already in the game and adding some extra things.

But, what is new ?!?
There is a new weapon in, the slime gun!
This power up shoots slime balls and they explode on impact with the ground. These are
slippery zones for those who drive over it.


Both environmental hazards got an upgrade.
For the rock rain, we now have custom rocks and a rain particle effect. (This effect is currently not
in the game)
For the blizzard, we now have a snow particle effect. Thisone is also not yet in the game because it
causes crashes.

There are some extra textures to display on the map. This adds some diversity.


Finally the ray gun also got its own particle effect!

For the next sprint we are planning to start on our UI and adding some more cool things!
